Using Data for Improvement:
- Identify the specific help students, parents, teachers and administrators need to succeed.
- Adjust classroom instruction to address student strengths and weaknesses and attract parental involvement.
- Focus professional development and resources on student, parent, teacher and administrator needs.
- Aid in creating content-rich individual education plans that are aligned with the Standards.
Increasing Effectiveness:
- Create conditions that foster a burning desire among students, parents, teachers and administrators for educational effectiveness.
- Encourage and support students, teachers, parents and administrators via small learning communities, networks, mentoring and coaching.
- Establish partnerships and/or further engage parents and stakeholders via a variety of activities.
Keeping the Bar High and Monitoring Progress:
- Increase student, parent, teacher and administrator awareness levels of the Standards - to include in-depth knowledge/discovery of "What?" "To what degree?" and "How?"
- Aid students, parents, teachers and administrators in using Standards and assessment to track and improve performance - every period, of every day, of every week, of every month!
- Increase student, parent, teacher and administrator participation in college and career readiness activities at the elementary and secondary level.
